Applications Features

To ensure the quality and durability of the glass, some care must be taken during storage and handling, this will reduce the risk of chemical and mechanical damage to the material.

• Equipment for the handling of glass loads must comply with the regulations in force, approved by the authorities and responsible bodies.
• Glasses should be discharged indoors, stored in a dry and ventilated place, to prevent large variations in temperature.
• Gloves and other necessary PPE are required to handle the glass.
• Do not expose the glass to the action of water or substances, such as: plaster, mortar, paints, solvents, oils and other similar substances.
• If there is a need to store the glass near chemicals, the minimum distance of 16 meters must be maintained.
• Glass should not be stored in outdoor places, by absorbing heat from sunlight, it may suffer thermal breakdowns.
• It is recommended that glasses be stored in environments where the temperature does not exceed 50 ° C (120 ° F).
• Contact of two pieces of glass can cause frictional wear and damage to materials. Therefore, they must be separated accordingly.
• To separate glass, use materials such as: foam spacer, cork spacer and acrylic blanket.
• Never use newspaper, cardboard, powder separators and coconut powder to separate glass.
• During glass cleaning, give preference to specific products, such as: glass cleaner, silicone polisher, cotton cloth or microfiber.
Important tips:
• Glue or adhesive residue can be completely removed from the glass with careful cleaning in the affected area using a cotton cloth moistened with liquid neutral shampoo.
• For cleaning, use only neutral silicone and never use kitchen detergent.
